Splined Shafts
Print-to-spec splined shafts are manufactured through a hobbing or shaping process to meet exact requirements. Pitch range is 3 - 48 DP with pressure range 14.5 - 45°.
Beyond splines, spur and helical gears can also be hobbed or shaped onto shafts. Capacity includes up to 16" OD and up to 50" max length. Typical materials include annealed, hardened, and stainless steel, along with various other ferrous and nonferrous materials based on performance requirements.
